ANY SUGGESTIONS ON LAPTOP BRAND AND MODELS NOT MORE THAN US $1000?

I’m the Design tyro as well as I’m formulation to buy the laptop. I’m seeking for the sold the single which could await assorted programs which I’m gonna make use of as partial of my Design studies. (ie.photoshop, ilustrator, automobile cad, etc.) And we usually have US $1000 in my piggy bank. we do not know most about laptop stuffs so I’m asking for suggestions from we guys! Help me.. Have to buy the laptop prior to propagandize starts by Jun 2008.

    Check with your school on what they recommend. It looks like your type of studies may lean towards getting a Mac. If so, you’ll have to shell out more than $1000.00 for a new mac laptop.

    In any case, stay clear of VISTA equipped laptops. Vista absolutely is the worst operating system Microsoft could have come up with.

    That means get something with XP.

    get an apple. the cheapest is 1099. u just need to borrow a hundred bucks from a friend. an easy loan to pay off.

    but dell sells refurbushed loaded better then new & cheap

    i suggest that if you are in design then you get a mac , they are much better fo rthat sort of activity and both of the people who i know in design use macs.
