Thanks, Jim. It would take me years to save up $899. we consider we will hang with the used Personal Computer laptop. Appreciate your answer though.

    Best deal I know of is a refurbished Macbook from Apple. (Unless you’re looking for a Powerbook – which was superceeded by the Macbook almost exactly two years ago)

    My Macbook does fine with photo projects (including a full sized version of Photoshop)

    Basic refurb MB right now $899.

    My personal preference would be the 15′ MB Pro (which I will likely be getting before long (don’t tell my wife!)
