u’ve fuked up ur computer. u shud have removed the virus immediately with a virus remover such as Avira. Then you shud hav protected with the Avira software. U could try a reinstall of the system and that could fix the problem, be sure to protect against viruses in the future

You put it in safe mode, find the virus and have your virus scanner take it off. I would recomend mcaffee as a virus thing cuz they get the job done in the first try

Take it to computer repair specialist, the virus most likely embedded itself into the system files and will be difficult or impossible to fix (especially without experience in computer repair and virus removal)

Your hard drive has probably gone out, that’s why it’s missing. You should get a new hard drive and reinstall your operating system.

AVG free edition works well for me, it’s very good and easy.

Malwarebytes Anti-malware is quite good and free. I would run it.

Ad-aware from Lavasoft is good to run every once in a while to get rid of all the junk that accumulates.

I don’t know a whole lot about computers but these do well for me.

If you have the operating system disc, you can use that to delete your hard drive, then recreate it and format it (this will get rid of the virus) but ensure you back up anything vital before, because it will completely remove everything. Use Safe Mode (hold f8/10 at boot [depends on the laptop manufacturer] and copy your files to a memory pen)
Then make sure you get an anti virus system. I have had McAfee for about 5 years, and have never had a problem with that, but if you cannot afford one, simply use something like AVG, as this is a fairly effective free anti virus.
You should have received an operating system disc with your laptop, but if not, you can use a library or something to order one (they ARE expensive!!)
Also if you reinstall an operating system, and need a serial, this is on the bottom of your laptop (green label)
    Hope this helps

    Trend Micro Internet Security

    and

I had something wrong with mine a couple months back, I ran diagnostics, I can’t remember where or the name, but try windows website. This found the problem and completely wiped it out. It took several hours to scan through my entire harddrive, but it was worth it. Then I installed Windows Defender[my laptop is older, your's probably came with it.] and also Installed Trend Micro Internet Security. Have not had a problem since.

If all else fails, either talk to geek squad, but to be honest they don’t seem to know much more than the average computer-user, or you can take it to a computer repair shop. My boyfriend had a huge rampant virus on his home desktop, took it to the shop, and a week and about 70 bucks later, it was fixed. This will probably be different depending on where you go.

By the way, C drive is your harddrive, so if that’s “gone” you’ve probably lost all of your information, including programs, drivers, ect..
    sorry about your luck.
