    I have it, heck i got the artist edition and the dv6000.
    Its a good notebook to have, does everything you need, silent, fast, and can run many programs.

    I bought this laptop yesterday and I have to admit that I’m fairly disappointed…

    The specs are REALLY good and the price too but it has so many problems:

    1.When the wifi is on, the sound (DVD, mp3s, random windows sounds, whatever) is crackles (clicks). If you turn off the wifi then the sound is normal. I’m online all the time and I listen all my music (while working and have to be online) and watch my movies on pc so they have to work together for me..

    2. The battery life seems poor. On the “power saver” it went for just over 2 hours while I was working on it (no heavy progs, just the basic). I tried to watch a movie and after 50mins or so only 10% of the battery was left.

    3. It’s full of bloatware (pre-installed programs and trial versions that I never use) that use resources and it took my hours to remove them and I still have more to do.

    I’ve been testing it for nearly 24h (seriously, I hardly got any sleep) and for the past 8 I’ve been looking for a solution about #1 (sound and wifi) but I can’t find one. I’ve tried all the updates, changed the drivers, tried different combinations, tried the older ones and nothing seems to work… it’s driving me crazy!

    I am probably going to return it in a few days if I don’t manage to get it to work.     Apart from all that.. it seems like a good laptop. I like the design a lot, the screen is nice but the whole thing get fingerprints all over and as I said before, the specs are GREAT!

    If someone who has this laptop reads this, please reply and let us know if his laptop has the same problems! I want to know if there is no solution if I should ask for a replacement or for my money back! Thanks
