Is this a camera or camcorder model and make would be helpful.
depending in the format that your “camera” takes the video in will depend on what you have to do. Most likely you will need to conver the video from the format that comes from the camera, simply plug in your camera into the computer, have you installed the software that came with the camera?. you should be able to go to may computer and the drive for the camera will be there open it and copy the video to your computer. once that is done find the file format (Windows movie maker does not support many file formats) and see if WMM will edit it. if not then you will have to conver it
