“Over a period of time a computer or laptop can get slower”
um are you saying that’s what happened to yours…
you say you have 1MB are you sure it’s not 1Mb cause if it is then it’s not really that fast. i have 8Mb
that game looks pretty shitty your computer shouldn’t have a problem with it
Dude. “Ram space”
RAM is Random access memory. Totally different then what is on the C drive. That is hard drive space.
Plus, that is hardly specific details. How much RAM on both? CPU speeds and such?
You didn’t give very specific details so I’m going to make up a few specs to prove a point.
A 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 processor from 2003 still runs at 3.0GHz in 2008. Computers don’t slow because they are getting old. They slow because of stuff we put into them. Installing software, removing software. Viruses malware and all the other usual suspects play their part in the slow down. The registry gets screwed up the computer starts looking for files and programs that are no longer there, the file system gets fragmented, and the list goes on and on.
There are so many factors and you gave so little info that nobody on here could possible help your specific case!
But speaking generally, keep your virus protection and spyware software up to date, install your updates, definitely get a good tune-up software, one that will clean your registry up too, and defragment your hard drives after everything else is done.
But back to the original question… since we know that computers themselves do not slow down with age, the only way to make them actually faster is to upgrade components! If you want to play new games fast, get a fast CPU, fast RAM, and a good graphics card…
Clean windows registry means faster PC performance. The registry is one of the most valuable sections of your PC. This is where important information and directories relating to installed software, hardware, temporary files downloaded from the Internet, created documents and folders, and other minor and minor applications are stored.
Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software’s, install new devices, download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system. This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched. Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC.
Cleaning the windows registry however is quite risky so these reminders might be a great help before you begin.
1. Before you clean the registry, be sure you really now how and what you are doing. If you are in doubt and just plain curious, you better consult a professional IT. This is for you and your computer’s security.
2. It is very important to create a back up of all you files before cleaning the windows registry so if the worse thing happens, your files are safe.
3. Find a reliable registry cleaning software on the net. You can either download a free ware or purchase it. A good registry cleaning software is one that includes multiple features – defragmenter, PC scan, junk file remover, uninstaller, and RAM optimizer.
Now that you know what it takes to clean windows registry doesn’t mean you can do this all by yourself, unless you are an IT professional.
