I will say though, i have an HP Compaq business model laptop which is about 4 years old and it hasn’t given me a spec of trouble and I would definately recommend business models over the normal “home use” models when it comes to quality. The business models come with less “crap” preloaded too so you get a leaner system to start with and typically better support from the manufacturer.
Dell has given me countless problems, HP machines runs so hot. Toshiba got bad design. HP is probably the best selling one. But I recommend looking into Asus and Gateway, they are extremely good from my experience.
