Apple !!!!
Neither. Nor HP for that matter, unless you’re a company. How about Acer, Asus, Samsung, Toshiba etc?
Dell, HP, or Acer, GET AN INTEL PROCESSOR, AMD’s are good, im a fan boy, but for laptops, i have to admit that AMD’s are powerhogs.
Depends totally on the software that you HAVE TO HAVE. If most of your favorite software is centered towards Windows only, then a Dell is the best option. Dells are reasonably inexpensive and they still allow you to choose XP over Vista for a little extra. I have a Dell Laptop and It was my everything for my first two years of college. It still runs like a champ….just take care of it. You may want to also consider Acer. They also have a great line of products. DO NOT buy HP or Compaq. Sony laptops are usually very good computers, but they are a little on the high side of cost.
I work in Information Services at a big hospital. I’ve heard many co-workers swear by their Macs. Apple has a really good product line and are the tops when it comes to entertainment. Several business applications also work very will with Macs too. The con in all of this: cost. The Apple and all of it’s individual applications you buy (Office, iLife, etc…) will cost you big time. Again, however, I’ve heard several people swear by their Mac and say that it was well worth the cost.
Hope this helps…..
