IS THE NOVEL, THE NOTEBOOK, OKAY FOR A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL?
I saw a movie, so we wish to try a book.
I’m thirteen though will be fourteen in only a integrate weeks. Is there a lot of inapt stuff? Is a novel as well advanced?
Also, we am grown up for my age, though my mother didn’t similar to me saying all those sex scenes.

The vocabulary is pretty easy–not advanced.
As far as content goes, I think it’s okay. I think the book is more tame than the movie. I think they “Hollywooded” those scenes up for the movie a little more.
I think you’ll enjoy the book a lot more than the film.
Ummm.. i read it when i was a sophomore in high school and it was still pretty graphic on some of the sex scenes tho.. even if you’re mature it’s still kinda intense and idk if i would recommend the book.. don’t get me wrong i love nicholas sparks, but even without those scenes, the movie is still better in my opinion which is very rare.. another book by nicholas sparks that u may enjoy tho would by true believer or the rescue. his novel One NIght in Rodanthe is being made into a movie that comes out either this summer or fall so maybe you’d like to read that one before it hits theaters.. hope this helped!!
You saw the movie, but you’re mom’s afraid for you to read the book?! Okaaay . . .
We have no idea of your reading level, but given Nicholas Spark’s writing level, I suspect that you will have NO trouble reading it. It’s not exactly “War and Peace”, y’know?
The ending of the book and the movie are COMPLETELY different, though. Which is why I hated the movie!
I read it AND watched it when i was 11. It is really good but it made me cry so much!
I know alot of young Teens reading the notebook. It does have the sex scenes in it and pretty vivid but nothing the moive didnt show you. Its truely a Wonderful book. I love it!
