I bought this battery and it worked great for about a week. Then, my computer shutted down while I was waorking and I lost all my stuff. The battery started to shut down even if it said it was 70 percent charged. One day it simply stopped charging. I sent it to brilliant store, and I paid the shipping wich was about 25% the price of the battery. They sent me another battery about a month after. The other one worked for a longer time but it just started to do the same thing and I lost all my stuff again. Beleive me, you don’t want this battery. It’s useless since you can’t rely on it. You never know when it will fail. Worst buy I ever made, I should have invested in the Hp one since it never failed and I quite sure it will never. I’m not working for hp or anything, I’m just making you aware that a good battery should not fail and these does. I’m tired of sending it back to the seller and I’m sure the other one they will send me will still fail. That’s all I had to say about that. Don’t buy it!

This battery fits my HP tx2500z tablet PC. It sticks out the back about twice as much as the stock battery, but for me that’s not a big deal. It shipped with very little (~4%) charge on it. Style-wise, it looks very similar to the stock battery (besides the elongated shape). I preferred this shape battery for an 8 cell as opposed to what HP offered (which raised the back of the tablet off the table). Also, this battery costs 1/3 of what HP wants.

Using the battery right now, running for over 2 hours and still has 50% battery life.. couldn’t ask for more..
