MACBOOK AIR OR HP PAVILION TX2000Z?

I have the complaint determining that cover to get. we do not fool around any games upon the Personal Computer – i only need it to work (write the little documents, have presentations), watch cinema as well as attend to the song so it has to be unstable as well as utterly tiny (13.3 inches is maximum). we cruise shopping MacBook Air or HP Pavilion tx2000z Tablet though we do not know most about computers so can we guys give me an advice?

Here have been the little sum about those two:

MacBook Air:
1.8 GHz
80 GB
Intel Core 2 Duo
13.3 inches
Mac OS X 10.5, Leopard
RAM 2 MB

HP Pavilion tx2000z:
2 GHz
12 inches
Windows Vista Home Premium
DVD+/-RW Drive
Intel Core 2 Duo
2 MB RAM
250 GB
Touch screen

Price doesn’t make the difference right right away for me.

Ps. Or may be the MacBook Pro?

It depends on money. MacBook Air is great but waaaaaay too overpriced in comparison to something an inch thicker with more power.

    HP Pavilion tx2000z:

Macbooks are beautiful and wonderful to work with, i just find them much more expensive

I’d suggest Macbook Pro if you’ve got the money for it but if you don’t I would say not the MacBook Air, personally I hate it and would not reccomend it to anyone, I would barely consider it a computer of any sorts, it’s more of an accessory to show off to people, point 1 – it’s really small and thin, this seems liek it would be really easy to break not to mention potential heating issues for everything being jammed in there so tight, 2nd there is no CD Drive on it, this may not seem so big if your just using it for work but their are many times where this feature is needed and becomes very helpful (such as reformat or even just movies or music)

On the other hand you have the HP Pavilion tablet, 1 plus is touch screen, that’s cool and fun, very helpful if you are an artist or hate laptop mouses, only problem I’ve ever had with HP computers/laptops is all the prepackaged software that comes bundled with it, but then again you get that with mostly all types of computers so theres not much avoiding it with windows-based computers. It also has more room for multimedia and should run fast especially since you wont be gaming

There’s some facts and opinions about it – personally I would go with MacBook Pro but then again since you will be doing work on it you may want the Windows machine for compatibility purposes
Or just do like me and use http://www.zoho.com to meet your office needs

    Hope this was helpful

If you “just need it to work” then it’s the MacBook Pro for sure. “It just works” is the Apple motto.

Can’t really recommend the Air as a main machine. It sacrifices too much to make it more portable and it ends up fitting better as a portable accessory to a more powerful main Mac desktop workstation. And personally I’ve got no problem “lugging” around my 5lb MacBook Pro. ;)
