I would like to retract my five stars and replace them with a MOON! Yes folks a big pants down to the ankles moon for this product. As of last night it completely stopped working. I have had this mouse for less than two months probably closer to six weeks. I am off to go and purchase another mouse but I am no longer pleased with the quality of this since it has failed to perform after 2 months of use…when it is good it is good but I am off to purchase another mouse by a different maker~

I purchased this mouse a few weeks ago and so far so good. It fits perfectly in my hand and it appears to be very responsive to my movements. I am female so I probably have slightly smaller hands then quite a few men.
If you feel your hands are larger than average or if you are an ‘xy’, it might be wise to visit the store and rub on the packaging a bit to make sure that it is big enough for your comfort. My teenage son thinks it is too small for his hands (which is good since I dont have to worry about this one getting ‘borrowed’ out of my life). It does seem slightly smaller than the ’standard’ size mouse but it is by no means a minature one.
So far I have not had to change the batteries (although I did not install the ones that came with it, opting for energizers)so I cannot comment on the battery life aspect just yet.
The mouse will automatically shut itself of if it is not moving for about seven or so minutes to conserve the life of the batteries so I am sure that that helps a great deal in conserving the life of the batteries. Since I have not had this 6 months yet, I am not in a position to verify this claim.
I purchased this as a companion for my netbook which I use quite a bit just prior to turning in for the night. I can place the mouse on my sheets and it still works, (although not great) but it is great that I dont have to drag a mouse pad or a book into the bed if I just need a few clicks before typing my emails.
The ultimate reason that I picked this mouse was for the fact that the transmitter fit into the bottom of the base of the mouse. It is just one less thing that I have to keep up with and I dont have to keep it sticking out of the computer to keep it from being lost.
The transmitter part of it does stick out a bit farther than some of the others that were available but since this one had the stow and go feature, I did not think it would be a major problem.
If I had to write a con, however, it would be that! The usb base does stick out quite a bit while sitting in your usb port, which might be a problem if you only have a pair of usb ports stacked or a power supply that is near your usb port. This was merely an annoyance for me and I consider this more of a design flaw of the cheap netbook that I am using rather than the mouse.
This mouse was plug and play (I assume that they all are now) but just in case I felt it worth mentioning since my computer ‘noticed’ it in about 5 or so seconds. So I was out of the package and running in less than 2 mintues.
I am a mere kitten in the wireless mouse review department (this is only my second wireless mouse), but I do feel that it was/is a perfect choice for a netbook companion.

I purchased this mouse about 3 months ago and use it at work every day for at least 8 hours a day (still on my first batteries). It works every time with absolutely no problems. I’ve used it on 2 Dell laptops and 1 HP laptop. It does stop communicating with the computer after it goes idle after a few minutes but just click it once and it wakes up and is ready for use again. I’m getting ready to buy another one for my wife.

I believe this is a quality mouse by it’s self, but it isn’t very compatible with my Sony VAIO NW. The driver that was installed on my laptop from this mouse causes my computer to BSOD! Everytime I unplug the usb my laptop instantly BSODs 15 seconds later.

Good little wireless mouse for the price. Comfortable in the hand. It occasionally stalls on my MacBook, but am figuring out how to remedy the problem. If you leave Appleworks or any of the iLife ‘08 programs open, the mouse stalls, or the pointer disappears. Use the touchpad to find the arrow and proceed with the mouse.

It worked great for three weeks. It never did fit very snugly into the USB port, and after a week of flawless performance, the USB started to have connection issues. I jostled it around a bit and the light blinked on, but I was leery of jostling it around at all. Tonight, it stopped working completely. I’ve had it since the first week of February.
I’m ordering a Logitech mouse tonight to replace this one. I seem to have better luck with their products.
