I’m a tyro as well as im peaceful to buy this notebook; though prior to i do. i wish to know if any one has any experience/problems regulating this indication or code i havn’t ever used an AMD Processor, though i dont know if a great or bad, so i wish your opinion. Is AMD Turion 64 X2 improved than Intel Core 2 Duo?

Why not AMD? as well as wats a large difference?

If you could change the windows vista then you should be fine with it. Vista still has a lot of problems. I’ve not seen or heard about any other problems with this notebook. Have you compared notes at say a place like here http://www.techrebuplic.com ? They have great reviews on pcs/laptops and notebooks.

there is a problem with all hp laptops and that is, after about a month or two after you got it, the power cord does not like to work, it just goes to the battery and drains it so keep that in mind but otherwise its OK.

i have 2 hp laptop at home & i bought it less than a year then now it ain’t worth a plug nickel and always have a problem.
What i would suggest is you don’t go for a amd processor, either go for celeron m, centrino, pentium m, duo core, solo core or some other intel based processor
Turions are okay. But they are nowhere near as good as the Intel Core 2 Duos.
I don’t know anyone who is happy with their HP laptops however.
