well 500 or 600 dollars won’t get you the best laptop in the world but i would look for macs. there great. they have music and everything. i got this cd that lets you download word and powerpoint and all that microsoft stuff. and there not like ones that freeze ALL THE TIME. trust me i hate those. so there you go.
First of all, DO NOT get SONY. It is very independent, and if your laptop will require repair, only SONY parts will work most of the time. Your best bet is Dell or HP. Also, get XPS. It is a bit pricey but the shaft is metallic, so body lasts longer. For the things you have mentioned, you probably don’t need too much computing power. If you can get a business DELL Laptop, get Latitude. It is top of the line and inexpensive. But do not get sony.
I would prefer Lenovo cuz it has nice features it is hassle free i mean it doesnt hang like othere laptops who hang frequently plus there are lot of lenovo service stations in which u can take it for reparing & it affordable too.
I ve Lenovo Y 410 Series laptop…..its awesome with bluetooth 1.3 mega pixel face recognition camera & 3 G………………other cool laptops…..are HP which is less affordable cuz it startin price is above 40,000 Rs in India & DELL but there are very few Dell Service stations………Compaq is sheet it hange too frequently…….go 4 the lenovo
