You need a laptop that has a dedicated video card such as GeForce 9600M GT. Anything such as ati radeon 3200 or or Intel video cards will not play any high end games such as COD. Beware that since laptops are not meant to play games, it will cost more to buy a laptop with a dedicated video card.
Either you don’t play games on your laptop and buy a cheaper laptop, or spend $$$ on a gaming laptop. up to you.
My suggestion is to get a desktop, which can play games and much cheaper than laptops. Unless taking your laptop to class or library or other places is very important to you, desktop is the way to go.
Since you’ve got a pretty good idea of what you’re looking for in a laptop, I’d recommend checking out this new application from Microsoft called “Laptop Scout,” which you can find at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-laptop-scout/default.aspx. You go to the site, enter in what you’re looking for in a laptop (and your budget), and it’ll point you towards some potential matches.
Using this site, you should be able to find something that matches your budget, as well as your business class and COD needs. I hope it’s helpful for you!
