Netbooks are ultra-portable, and easy to use! HP currently has a great netbook, and not to mention they are less than 500$ The only downside is, it’s not for playing games because it’s not a very powerful computer, it’s mainly for internet surfing, document and text editing, and e-mail.

They were specifically made for college-bound students too! =)

    DON’T BUY A HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Overall, Dell is the best,
for fast operating laptops try Toshiba, (that’s what i am using right now)
But don’t buy HP, they are usually slow and have bad RAM. Same as Apple laptops.

in my opiniion anything that can get the job done is good enough right ?

you should take some things into consideration though
like what are you going to be using it for because if your only going to use it for essays and school projects you dont really need a computer with like 500gb of space right?

The one you linked is actually really good but unless you’re doing gaming or anything requiring that heavy of hardware you can sacrifice the processor down to a 2.0GHz. You can go apple but they’re supremey expensive and in my opinion not worth it.

the laptop that you are looking at is a great laptop and will not go out of date for about 6 years.. 4 GB of ram will allow you to do pretty much anything.. the laptop that you picked out is not the greatest deal on that laptop but its not a bad deal either, its about average price for the hardware you are getting with it..
