My bill is prett loose, anything underneath 1700 is fine. we wish the shade distance of 12-14 inches, weighing 5 or fewer pounds. we unequivocally only wish the quick computer! we do not need to fool around games upon it, though we would similar to to be means to multi charge with mixed programs open during once. Apple MacBook Air is thin, and that’s just about all it has going for it. I would recommend a Sony Vaio, either the 11 or 13 inch screen. They are fully customizable, and lightweight. They also happen to get great reviews.
DELL XPS will be fine

I would recommend either the Dell XPS M1330 or the Dell Studio XPS 13, the Studio XPS is a bit more expensive but comes with DDR3 Ram which is really fast, has a very decent Graphics card for video editing and also a very good processor, and looks very nice.
The XPS M1330 is cheaper but doesn’t have the same performance.
So well its up to you, hope you enjoy college and find the computer your looking for.
If you want one specifically for college it would probably be best to wait till July or August (depending on when your college starts) to buy one, because at the rate computers are improving in general, something that would cost $1700 now would prob cost $1000 or less in July. If you want the best laptop then wait till the last minute to buy it, and the better laptop brands are mainly Sony Vaio, Toshiba and Compaq.
