I only got the pursuit as well as proposed working. What is the most appropriate laptop for the seventeen year aged JR. girl. we would similar to something which we could take to college subsequent years. Some where in the cost operation of 600-900 good quality. 10- twelve in. screen. we would similar to the dell since my mother has the bonus with them. Any suggestions would be great. And aniy personal opinions / reviews of sure laptops would be appreciated.
Thanks

do not get a 10-12 inch. as for your price range. dell is fine for the cheap side. if you want good unit buy an asus
For college I’d go for something bigger than 12″ – you should aim for a 15″ Dell in the lowish to end of your price range, then spend the rest of any budget you have left on a solid bag and some backup disks)
It’ll make typing reports that bit easier… it’s less portable but the screen space is really worth it about 2,000 words in to a 10,000 word report
DON’T GET DELL!!!!!! DON’T GET DELL!!!!
yes they are cheap..that’s coz they give u parts from chinese microdumps.. dell are a rip!!..i run a pc and laptop repair shop and 85% of laptops that come in are dell machines…horrible little things… dont get it just coz it’s cheap! it will let u down!! yes occasionally you get the odd good one..but generaly speaking…no
if you want quality…then go for an HP..and at college you want something around 15″ to 17″ widescreen…15.4″ screens are standard and are just fine i think….you’ll get annoyed wiht a tiny screen, they’re overpriced and underspec’d…
try one of the HP DV6000 series…they’re around your price range..and they are really good laptops! intel dual core laptops, designed for graphics and entertainment, web surfing’s a breeze, standard word and spreadsheet processing’s fast and HP are virtually indestructable!
long live HP… (otherwise go for an Acer or a Toshiba
they’re excellent too!)
hope this helped!
Look i suggest u to go for atleast a 15inch laptop.Look its just not with d screen size, but its gotta do with d features dat comes with a 15inch mainstream laptop.U get a DVD burner, bluetooth,a nice keyboard. The 15inch laptop is a primary computer, while dose small MINI laptops r just for style statement,Minis lack on performance,Compatibility. So plz go for a 15inch laptop asur budget is quite good to fetch u a wel equipped laptop.Hope u understand ME.
Well I wouldn’t go for a dell maybe a hp or a mac. WELL i will start with mac first it is not susceptible to viruses very rare for one to get a virus. Macs hold a lot off memory and you can run multiple programs at once without it slowing down or freezing. Macs last really long probably like 6 years without trouble. White macs are great for college and the white mac is 15 inch. I tried 16 programs at once and still it was at a normal speed. Macs have a better battery life. Macs are very very reliable you can always count on them. Also Mac has a very fast internet. It charges fast. Mac has keys that light up when its dark well actually senses the Lightning Temperature. Mac has software updates meaning you can get a new software just by downloading something. Macs are pretty easy to use. etc etc also if you want to spend only 900 just pinch in some more cause macs cost 1000 but in the long run it will be worth it. I had a ibook for 4 and a half years no trouble at all. No trouble at all. now i am living happily with a macbook pro. Oh yeah macs come with cameras and great apps.
Now lets move on with hp bad keys my mom had one and the esc button pop ed out. Then her computer crashed about 11 times her battery life was a joke only 45 Min’s and it was the 2008 hp vista. The web cam is horrible. She ran out of memory. She got so many viruses. oh yeah u wanna spend 900 or less on those cheap computers well think again u will spend at least 1500 fixing it or higher. My mom spent 2000 something getting it fixed. the internet is so slow and so is the computer . My mom got sick off it and bought a mac. She had no trouble at all. Same thing with a dell Friend spent soooooo much money getting it fixed. poor guy . Well he is getting a mac. now YOU GET A MAC it will a good buy. BTW ALMOST EVERYBODY HAS A MAC so get out there and get one. Well thanks hope you get a mac .
