WHAT’S THE BEST OF THE SMALL (8.9″-10.2″) NOTEBOOKS? ASUS? MSI? DELL? HP? ACER? ANOTHER?

I’m starting to buy the single of these things, often to take records in class, yet additionally to do light internet searching. I’ve usually looked during the Acer as well as HP, as well as they appear about the same (though HP’s set of keys seems the little bit nicer). Anyone have any opinions upon this matter? Thanks.

I believe the Acer will give you more for your money. I’ve seen those little things carried around by people more than the HP, and most haven’t had problems.

The Acer Aspire one might be the best looking but far as I’m concerned about it’s quality and durability – I have this one for testing and would rate it as above average.

Build quality is great. LCD hinge doesn’t wiggle. The keyboard is fine for taking notes. Performance wise, it could take XP as most computers can.

    Acer Aspire One

    Pros
    -Surprising Crystal Display
    -Good build quality
    -Comfortable keyboard and touchpad

    Cons
-Usage life for 3 Cell battery
    -Questionable quality and durability

If you want a complete netbook, your choice might fall between the ASUS eeePC 1000H and MSI WIND U100.

*You might also want to wait and settle for the upcoming netbooks.

    - The new Acer Aspire One 10′inch in February
    - The MSI Wind U120 this month

    Good luck with your choice

Most reviews out there say that the Asus Eee PC is the best netbook. My favorite one would be the Dell Inspiron 9 or 12 since they basically have the best design.
