same happend to me go to amazon, my battery was aout £50-£70 i think. it was a while back =]
Hands down get it from Acer. I work for a retail store that sells the universal ones, and they’re over $100. From Acer, it will only be in the $50-$60 range. Call Acer first. They may replace it free of charge.

Or you can call the computer stores near you and ask for prices and such ?

Check ebay, I buy my replacements from an eBay store called Jacobs Parts. They are good quality and cost no more than 30 bucks, and compared to the $100+ you will pay elsewhere it is a great price, and again the quality is awesome!

you need to take it to a shop and have them look at it ,if it is the socket in the computer it will need to be replaced $100 to $175 or it may be the charger $50-or +
Most chargers only cost about $30-$50 dollars like at best buy or walmart.
