Personally I like Intel but AMD is just as reliable. As for computers my Toshiba is reliable but HP is also a good company. Acer is another good company, not as recognized but has pretty dependable computers at low prices.
Intel Core if that is the core duo. And as for the companies i would say toshiba.
I would go for a HP excellent laptops good performance, reliable and robust. HP have a good back up service and reliable if you ever need it. Dell i am afraid i don’t rate at all.
if you want a desktop, take AMD with a dell because it is cheaper and you can change the chip or overclock easy after a few years. if a notebook take intel with HP, light on battery/less heat/mobile technology/ plus easier customer service, their books are design for easy upgrade by average users and are top rated.
